Not bad. A little dusty for me ,but does have a nice appeal about it. Lots of shade in powered areas & facilities though dated do have a unique rustic appeal about them.
Beach is a little walk down a stair case & is quite appealing . Can't drive on beach unless launching a boat,..but understand why. Lots to entertain at night & pizza excellent.Bread cooked on site as well as other meals being provided for dinner. Track in could do with a grader as quite a few corrugations.
All in all,..would recommend if only just to visit.

A great spot and spacious camp sites. The beach is a short walk away and rock formations are amazing. The staff were great and we tried the pizzas made on site and loved them, also the baked on site bread is excellent. There is often live music near reception in the evening. If you are in the area stay at this place.
Great spot on the ocean. Staff work hard to keep the place clean as its a big area. Lots of different rustic toilets and showers.
10k dirt Rd in to the station.
Was dry and warm but plenty of shade. Big camping spots. Easy walk to the beach.
Stayed 3 nights mid August on unpowered site in overflow, plenty of room. Beaches are excellent, great swimming and beautiful rocks. Amenities block was unroofed (and clean) which was a perfect novelty for the warm weather. Laid back friendly atmosphere, with lots of happy children in the playground. Pizza was delicious, and the staff were all cheerful and helpful. Would stay again for the beaches alone.
Stayed here before and it didn't disappoint. Were in unallocated area and still had a view of the beach. Enjoyed live band and 2 nights of dinners. Delicious. Not to mention yummy 🍰 and fresh bread. Must be early. Staff are friendly and helpful and we were sorry to leave. Toilets and showers had good water temp functional outdoor. Enjoyed the swimming 🏊♀️ and good walks along the beach. Dog friendly also.
A lot of people rave about how good this particular station stay is. It was at best, a bit above average.
Food when available was good, not amazing like everyone says. Vanilla slice was just ok. Maybe they are adjusting their review for the location.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Amenities were dirty with lots of toilet paper pieces blown around the outside of them that the cleaners didn't clean up during our 3 day stay.
The ocean view unpowered sites are the pick. A fair hike to the beach which was good to swim at.
I wouldn't visit again as other station stays are better in my opinion.
Really beautiful place to stay! Sites are bundled quite close together so you don’t feel like you have a lot of privacy. Facilities, Cafe and Pizza’s were great! Check in process was very slow.
